About Me

Kee Chan, PhD
     Dr. Chan is an Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Boston University.  Dr. Chan received her PhD in epidemiology at Yale University, and conducted research at the National Human Genome Research Institute.  While at NIH, Dr. Chan became interested in the implementation of screening programs.  Her research focuses on developing models for evaluating the cost-benefit of infectious diseases management.  Currently, Dr. Chan collaborates with the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and National Institutes of Health (NIH) on projects on HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C infections, and newborn screening.  At Boston University, Dr. Chan teaches courses on public health and genomics.
